Saffron Serenade

These sweeties will envelop you with the warmest coziest feelings from its blend of warm spices like cardamon, ginger, cloves, cinnamon, black pepper and of course, the saffron which brings a sweet earthiness that's not overly floral but perfectly balanced with the rest of spices.

When Babo reached out for a collab using her teas, I was excited and curious as the tea drinker I am and how much I love using tea for my confections. I tested a few of the blends she's currently offering—Saif ul Malook, Kashmiri Tea and Saffron Serenade— they all came out beautifully, I was impressed about how distinct they were from each other even in "sweetie" form (sometimes the more subtle flavor notes disappear after 50 min of cooking). As much as I'd like to offer all of them, my production is very limited and I had to make a choice so Saffron Serenade with its warmth was the clear winner for the cold Winter months.
