Yami Yami was started by me, Yamina, a Catalan with roots in Spain & Algeria in love with the Californian harvest.
My thing for confections started at culinary school, under the teaching of Nicole Plue at The San Francisco Cooking School—but I completely fell in love after working at Craftsman And Wolves In San Francisco, where I deepened my knowledge of delights like caramels, pâte de fruit, marshmallows, brittle and jams...Just a lil’ Non Stop! So here I am, making my own rules, trusting my own creativity & doing what I love from home.

Yami Yami does everything fresh in small batches, this allows us to be flexible, move and flow with the seasons, using fruit at its best! Everything is handcrafted, always fresh & organic—using only organic whole fruit from local farms.
Our goal is to build relationships with local farmers & makers, to know exactly who and where our ingredients come from.
