Peach + Mezcal

Rolled in Ancho Chile & Black Lime Sugar

This Mexican inspired flavor created by Chef Jacob from My Friend Fernando has it all!

It's sweet, it's smoky, it's tangy...the flavors don't compete with each other but are perfectly balanced releasing with each bite — making you wonder what's next and ending on a spicy and almost savory note.

It took 10 test batches — first I started using Tequila instead of Mezcal which turned to be too subtle, no matter how much I added to the pot, so Mezcal it was!

As always, the ingredients are locally sourced:

~ Organic Yellow Peaches from Blossom Bluff Orchards

~ Black Lime + Ancho Chile from Oaktown Spice Shop

~ Legendario Domingo Durango Mezcal from Tahona Mercado in SF
